Your gold safari will be small and intimate (min 2-max 6) which will allow you to make friends the Aussie way otherwise bring a friend along – either way, you’ll have the time of your life and hopefully find yourself a piece of the elusive WA Goldfields shiny!

Meet & greet in Coolgardie at Prospector Park Gold Safaris (PPGS) HQ, the gold safari will end in Coolgardie. Times are pre discussed and will vary with the confirmed itinerary, season, weather and prospecting locations .
Minelab detector hire must be pre arranged prior to the gold safari, ensure you discuss this with Prospector Park on enquiry as we may have a
GPX 6000 for hire at $80 per day.

Prospecting locations are either in Coolgardie, Kununulling, Ora Banda or Bullabulling depending on ground and access availability on the day. Our 'pending' and 'live' gold leases are no further than a 70km return-trip from Coolgardie applied via gazetted roads or clear tracks. (no bush-bashing required)

All tours will have a safety briefing prior to your gold safari plus discuss the weather, the prospecting location/s which will be subject to current road conditions along with your physical ability being in remote bush environment plus the ability of your tag-along vehicle.

PPGS provides you experienced prospecting guides who are proficient with equipement and the environment presented. Prospector attending vehicles must have at least 16cm+ road clearance to chase, AWD or 4WD are preferred but not essential and minimum 2 persons for all activities for all ages! (negotiable)
​
You will need to obtain "Miners Right" from the Department of Mines, Industry Regulations and Safety before your gold safari and this must be done in person. Present your photo ID at either the Kalgoorlie, Southern Cross or Perth City DMIRS.

... no miners right means no digging or detecting, even for spectators!

A fossickers dream to find that rare bottle, old coin, tins, registration tags and other treasures. Coolgardie has some of the oldest history laying around awaiting to be found.

Have some ore to process? Or let us take you to our own hard rock gold source and chisel out your own pay. Our ore has been known to hold up to 55 grams per tonne.

PPGS has several sites in Coolgardie for known gem quality quartz stones, pegmatites and agate like rocks worth cutting for any lapidarist or specimen collector.

Start the session with one-on-one Trilobite training (App) and a grid session for real gold on one of our many leases in the region. Any gold or antiquities you find is all yours to keep!

Flora, fauna and rocks. Prospector Park has access to some of the finest timber reserves in WA. One may make a major discovery or find antiquities.

We use it every day, Lithium. A unique experience for any lapidarist or prospector who wants to learn the new 'white gold' and how to identify it.

GOLDFIELDS WILD-FLOWERS
60% of Western Australian flowering species are found in the WA Goldfields. A walking safari for photography, perhaps find something unique.
